The first act of Grey David is complete, and the script is moving into the second act.

Work continues on Grey David, a supernatural drama about judgment, consequence, and the difficult space between mercy and punishment.

The first act is now written, establishing David Hardy, his great-uncle Willie, and the strange agreement between celestial and infernal forces that allows certain humans to pass temporary judgment on the living.

With the foundation in place, the story is ready to move into the second act, where the premise can begin to open up. That is the exciting part.

The challenge now is deciding what comes first. David could be thrown into his first real judgment. He could make a mistake. He could witness something that seems simple at first, only to discover that guilt and innocence are more complicated than they appear. Or he could begin by trying to avoid the responsibility altogether, only to realize that the world will not wait for him to feel ready.

Grey David has crossed an important threshold. The world is established. The central character has been called. The rules are in place. Now David has to find out what kind of grey man he is going to become.
